Call to Entry
The Festival encompasses a wide variety of activity including: continuous live music and dance, traditional & contemporary artists, a juried fine arts & crafts show, antique & classic car show, flower show, fine food and a show for home crafters, antiques, collectibles, merchants and businesses.
Entry Procedure
The Festival is sponsoring a four day show for home crafters, antiques, collectibles, merchants and businesses. Any merchant or other business (including non-profits) desiring to promote their product or service is eligible to attend. The sale of food and drink is not permitted - this is solely the responsibility of the Concession Division of the Festival (see Regulations) and requires a different application—call for details.
Applicants must submit the following:
- List of ALL electrical equipment
- Payment (by check) for booth fees
- Proof of Insurance (if required)
- Completed Application Form
Deadline for Application:
July 1, 2008 for first review; thereafter applications will be reviewed until the show is full.
Insurance
Each commercial vendor must carry a minimum of $250,000 in liability coverage. A valid CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE or other acceptable proof of insurance for liability coverage must accompany each application. Certain exceptions apply for individuals. If you are confused or have a question, call for clarification.
Regulations and Information
- Free give-aways, raffles, drawings, or any similar promotions are by “permission only” in writing by the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival, Inc.
- No smoking is allowed in or near any booth. All booths are subject to government fire regulations. Where appropriate, a fire extinguisher is required in each booth area.
- Set-up begins at 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Tear down will begin at 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
- Each vendor must remain open during the minimum hours of: Thurs., Fri., and Sat 10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Sun. 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- No vehicles are permitted in the exhibit area during exhibit hours.
- Exhibitors are NOT permitted to tear down until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. NO exceptions.
- No solicitations shall occur outside of the assigned booth space (i.e. raffles, drawings, etc.).
- All vehicles must be removed from the concession area 30 minutes prior to exhibit hours.
- Parking spaces for supply vehicles are not provided by the Festival.
- The Festival reserves the right to determine what items are sold, who may sell any particular item, and where the items may be sold. This regulation is not negotiable and will be strictly enforced by the Festival.
- Vendors are not permitted to sell any carbonated beverages or any prepared ready-to-eat food. Pre-packaged food not normally covered by a Food Service License may be sold when approved by the Festival.
- All sales and income taxes are the responsibility of the vendor.
- The Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival, Inc. is not responsible for any loss or damage to the property of the vendor.
- Booth application fees are non-refundable.
- The Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival, Inc. reserves the right to cause removal of vendor from the grounds if any or all regulations are not observed anytime during the Festival.
- The Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all applications.
- Applicants will be notified of acceptance at the address or fax number specified by the applicant.
- The sale of any offensive products are prohibited. This is a family event. The Festival Director will be the final judge in determining what is offensive based on local standards.
Booth Space & Fees (for Four Days)
Booth spaces are 10’ x 10’. A vendor can request more than one space. Fees for booth space shall be:
- $90 per 10’x10’ booth space for four days.
- Electric:
- 110V add $15
- 220V by special request only
