The sixth annual cheerleading competition will be Thursday, August 11. Teams from all local and area schools have been invited to participate. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each division. The groups are divided into divisions of Varsity, Junior Varsity, Junior High, Pee-Wee and Colt.  There will be no tumbling or stunting in this competition.

Each team will perform a maximum of 3 minutes with at least 1 minute of music / dance. The judges will be looking at fourteen different categories that include motion technique, voice projection, transitions, formation / spacing, flow /pace, jumps, dance, synchronization / timing, effective / appropriate words, effective / appropriate skills, use of signs / pom-poms / flags /megaphones, showmanship / presentation, choreography, and overall impression.
