Knox County Quilt Show
The Knox County Quilter's Guild have their needles flying and sewing machine pedals to the floor, completing projects to be included in their annual quilt show. This show will exhibit approximately 200 quilts, both antique and new construction, wall hangings, miscellaneous quilted pieces and clothing, and fabric art, from area quilters and fabric artists.
The Knox County Quilter's Guild has made a beautiful quilt which will be given away by drawing at the end of the show. A portion of the proceeds after expenses, will benefit Hospice of Knox County. Tickets for the quilt are available at all area quilt shops, Hospice of Knox County, and from any guild member.
The quilt show will be held at the YMCA Sports Center, 200 W. Chestnut St., Mount Vernon, Ohio. Show hours are Friday, August 12, 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm; Saturday, August 13, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; and Sunday, August 14, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The facility is handicapped accessible. There is a small admission charge for adults; children in the company of adults are admitted free.
