Knox County Quilt Show*

quilt springinterludeThe Knox County Quilt Guild has their needles flying and sewing machine pedals to the floor, completing projects to be included in their annual quilt show.  This show will exhibit approximately 200 quilts, both antique and new construction, wall hangings, miscellaneous quilted pieces and clothing, and fabric art, from area quilters and fabric artists.

The quilt show will be held at the YMCA Sports Center, 200 W. Chestnut St., Mount Vernon, Ohio. Show hours are Friday, August 14th, 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm; Saturday, August 15th, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; and Sunday, August 16th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The facility is handicapped accessible.

Admission for adults is $3, seniors $2, and children in the company of adults are admitted free.

The Knox County Quilter's Guild has made a beautiful quilt, "Spring Interlude," that will be given away by drawing at the end of the show. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hospice of Knox County. Tickets for the quilt are available through any Quilt Guild member, or on their Facebook page.
