There are several contests held during the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival that are not to be missed! Thursday evening come downtown to watch the Cheer Competition. Teams from all local and area schools have been invited to participate.
On Thursday and Friday the Knox Idol competition is sure to be exciting. Knox Idol showcases local talent to find the top musical performer of Knox County. Youth ages 14 to 18 and Young Adult ages 19 to 29 will sing their hearts at a chance to win the coveted Knox Idol.
At 8:00 am on Saturday, take in the Old-Time Fiddle Contest on the First-Knox South Stage on the square. Saturday evening, stop by for the Festival Bell Auction and stay to listen to our headliner!
