The Banjo and Flat-Pick Guitar Contests will be held this year on Saturday, August 12 on the First-Knox South Stage beginning at 10:00 am. The flat-pick guitar contest will have three age categories: 12 and under, 13-19, and 20 and over. The banjo contest will begin after the guitar contest is over and have two age categories: 17 and under, and 18 and older. Old-time, bluegrass, and Dixieland styles will be accepted. These contests are open to all non-professional players.
