The Knox County Quilter’s Guild annual show to be held in conjunction with the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival will showcase quilts and quilted items from area quilters. This is a non-juried show, put on for the pleasure of displaying the beautiful quilts in Knox County for its citizens and visitors. Recognition awards are given based on viewer’s choices.
The KCQG 2008 Opportunity Raffle Quilt will be on display during the show. The drawing will be held Sunday, August 12 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance from KCQG members, Hospice of Knox County or at our local quilt shops.
The quilt show will be held at the Y.M.C.A. Sports Center, 200 West Chestnut Street, Mount Vernon. Show hours are Friday, August 8, 12:00 - 8:00 pm; Saturday, August 9, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; and Sunday, August 10, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The facility is handicapped accessible and admission to the show is $3.00 for adults, children free with adults.
